Project of the Week – Outdoor Fireplace and Pizza Oven – Missouri – June 27, 2019

Contractor and Amerigo-Close View Contractor and Amerigo-Rear View Contractor and Amerigo-Wide ViewTomahawks in Pizza Oven-72

This week’s Project of the Week is an exciting design located in the Saint Louis area.  This project features a customized 48” Contractor Series arched lintel fireplace and the Amerigo™ pizza oven with a custom radius wall.  Sussex stone veneer and MSI Alterra porcelain pavers were used to transform a soggy backyard into a frequently used outdoor living room and kitchen.  It was designed by Sean Sunderland and constructed by Concrete Creations and Solutions, thanks Rolando Vasquez.  Stone Age kits, stone, and expertise (thanks Mike Souders) were supplied by Earthworks of Chesterfield, MO.  If you haven’t yet tried inserting an elevated grill grate into your pizza oven and wood grilling up a few tomahawk steaks yet give it a try, the results will amaze you.  Your guests will be very happy with their pizza appetizer and steak entrees.  Way to go Blues!!

If you have photos of one of your projects featuring Stone Age products you would like to share, send us your high-resolution photos, along with details of which Stone Age products were used, what type of finish materials were used, and your name and location. If selected, your project will be featured in the Fireplace of the Week or Project of the Week post.
